So I hate opening cd’s and dvd’s. I know the packaging is there for a reason, but they are just unreasonably difficult to open. So I was excited when a friend of mine found the CD and DVD Stripper Set that I had seen on TV at a garage sale and picked it up. These tools work great at opening the tough packages, seriously, they do what they say they will, and do it well.

Unfortunately the CD and DVD Stripper Set is way to expensive, and will most likely just end up at the bottom of your shelf until you some day decide to throw it out. This should be a lesson to all marketers, single usage items are never better then a multitasker like a sharp pair of scissors; even if they do work well.

The CD and DVD Stripper Set is also way to expensive. $20 for an item thats sole purpose is opening a cd or dvd is ridiculous, and really there is no way I would have paid retail for this ($1 at the rummage sale). All in all, the CD and DVD Stripper Set works well, but you should probably save the cash and just buy a good pair of scissors, or even a box cutter to open your cd’s and dvd’s.

Not only will these work just as well, they can also be used around the house for other purposes. Just be careful, it is impossible to cut your self with the CD and DVD Stripper Set, not so with a box cutter.
