While a thermal carafe may not have originally been on my list of Christmas presents on a budget, it sure as heck is now. This is a holiday gift idea that is not only practical, it’s stylish too! Honestly, have you ever seen a carafe that looked so cool??

After testing this carafe against all of the other leaders Hammacher Schlemmer came to the conclusion that this was indeed the best thermal carafe.They had focus groups and professionals test it and the others, like a LOT.

One of the things that set this thermal carafe apart from all the others was that it was able to maintain 86% of the peak temperature of hot liquid over four hours. It’s sound like a better and better holiday gift idea with every sentence right?

That sounds great right? Consider this, the next carafe on the list in order of scoring was only able to retain 65% of the heat in the same amount of time.

The thermal carafe is able to retain both heat and cold making it perfect for any and all beverages. It is able to work so well because it is double-walled with a glass liner as well as vacuum insulation. 

This is a pretty sexy looking carafe too, and that’s not something I thought I’d ever hear myself say. I really do think it’s a fantastic holiday gift idea. The focus group testers also scored this thermal carafe highest for ease of use. They loved the ergonomically-designed integrated handle that allows you to hold the vessel and open the hinged lid all at one time.

I love this thermal carafe, it is light, efficient and affordable. It is definitely on my list of must have Christmas presents.
